It's the next best thing to having your own pool table. Click on the link to download.

Pool Master
PoolMaster lets you play a game of pool against the computer or another player. It provides a realistic simulation. You can play straight pool, nine ball, eight ball, trick shots, straight rail, three cushion, or snooker. The game is played with a mouse and takes some study to know how to play. Online help is available. Graphs can be produced showing rail efficiency, cue ball deflection and distance, and permissible errors. No instructions are available outside of the program.

Challenge Pool
Challenge Pool lets you play all of the most popular pool games on your computer. You control the cue with a mouse or the keyboard, selecting angle, force, and cueball hit for English. Set shots with one or two cue tip offsets from cueball center, then adjust the angle with coarse or fine alignment. Click on the length of stroke and get ready to shoot. A forecast button lets you see the result of a hit before you take your shot. Computer play will let you see shots the way the expert sees them. This trial copy lets you play 9-ball. Registration brings six more games, including 8-ball, rotation, straight pool, and more.

Arcade Pool
Team 17's Arcade Pool is a pool game that lets you play against the computer or watch a demo played by the computer. The game is eight-ball and you control aim, English, and power of the cue stroke to make your shots. Rules can be set for your preferences on events such as scratches and sinking the opponent's ball. The demo lets you play for only 2 minutes to try out the game. Sounds and music are supposedly included but didn't work in the demo. No documentation is included, so you'll have to figure out the controls by trial and error.

1994 Pool
1994Pool is a game of billiards with a lot of twists. There are two tables for one or two players, with three levels of difficulty. Each level has its own obstacles. Hit a swirling fireball or a moving helicopter and watch your cue ball disintegrate. Get around the obstacles with fancy trick shots and watch your score climb. The game optionally supports SoundBlaster or Gravis Ultrasound cards, and will play the sounds of the cue ball striking the object ball and the disappointment of the spectators after a poor shot. View high scores, and access on-line help. Registration brings five pool tables and a full 100 levels. This maintenance release fixes a problem with networks.
